I just had to share this Subaru Commercial with you. Subaru’s newest line of commercials has the love theme in all of them, check ‘em out on youtube!

As you know I love planes and my most favorite cars on the earth are Subarus. Plus, this commercial hits home for me because I want to do that for my kid too…when I do have kids. Shower them with LOVE.

by the way, that airplane the kid is holding is a 1:200 scale Boeing 747-800 Intercontinental made by a company called Hogan. This one right here.

“Love is living bigger.”

Life is about making time for things that matter.”

I love it!!!

WAHHHHHH this totally made my day.

I’ll show you guys what aircraft spotting is all about when I reach London Heathrow….They don’t call that airport “The Land of the Heavies” for nothing. The rush I get from hearing/seeing/feeling a jet scream over head is indescribable.

Ok so it’s nothing special, I think everyone can get approved. But I have to admit that when I signed up for WeddingWire and saw my approval notice I became very anxious and nervous almost to the point of being frozen. So many questions ran through my mind:

“Will I ever have what it takes?”
“Do I even have the time?”
“What if I don’t know how to handle clients?”
“Will I even get any business so I can have opportunities to try to get great images?”

and the list goes on.

All these feelings/questions are natural and are all part of an investment where you can’t see even 1 minute into the future. I’ve invested so much time, so much money, and so much energy just to get to this point and I feel as if I just don’t want to fail…yet I’m scared to even step out and try not to fail! Oh what a push and pull! hahah. Sometimes I can’t even sleep at night thinking about this so much.¬â€

Blogging about my little photography escapades is like watching a reality TV show. You get to see me from start to finish in my real self (photography-wise) and see if I succeed or not.

Well to whatever may come, may God just use me for his Glory and continue to grow me as a person and hopefully as a photographer =).

Just got this in the mail today! I have been wanting one of these ever since I began my Design career!

With this thing, regardless of what others see on their non-calibrated monitors, I know that my pictures are as closer to print quality on my monitors as possible as it calibrates the color output on your monitor. Of course it will never be 100%. To get even closer I would have to shell out some $2k for a new monitor like the ones from Ezio. Yea, I’ll pass on those for now, I barely scraped enough cash to purchase this deal.

I still have to learn to use this thing…So much to LEARN!!!! Sometimes I get overwhelmed.

I am a big fan of everything in design. I am a big fan of great Industrial Design (my first intended major). And I always love when form meets function. So I couldn’t resist taking some pics of this beauty. You can’t go wrong with stuff that look like UFOs.

Shallow DOF is cool!

Seriously I just want to see and hear all the superstars of wedding photography. I am so happy that this opportunity came around! David Jay and others are doing this Free to Succeed tour across the country and speaking about the business as well as the products he offers and what other people offer! I am so excited because this only cost me $50 and is happening in San Francisco!

Forget the knowledge (haha sort of), seeing David Jay will be enough for me and worth my $50! This can be a little belated bday present for myself as my birthday happens that week before the San Francisco tour haha.¬â€

Sign up now!!!!!
http://getit.davidjay.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8¬â€

Man I wish my Graphic Design career was as vibrant as what photography is becoming for me. One day soon…I just need to leave Davis first. The Arts just doesn’t seem all that fast paced up here in slow slow Sacramento compared to the Bay Area.

And ok ok I will get back to posting NYC pics!! I keep getting sidetracked.

Just got into NYC and the Sheraton LaGuardia after traveling with Steve on our red eye flights. We are working on 1hr of sleep! But whatever…I’M IN NYC!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! SO EXCITED!

Will update as the week goes! Here are some shots of the beginning of the trip.

Got a couple snapshots of our plane when it came into SMF! We got N943FR, the deer!

Passing the sunset! A little grainy sorry.

Turning into the gate. This is an Airbus a319 by the way.

Gotta pay to watch direct TV! I don’t blame Frontier though; they just recently filed for bankruptcy.

Beautiful skies!
