derrick, janette and i spent the entire day chillaxing and eating…oh yea and shooting. derrick and janette know like, all of my friends. its always great fun to meet these links like derrick and janette in the big long chain of friends…like that feeling i get when i find that last rare michael jordan card to complete my 1997 upper deck basketball card collection (only an example, i dont really collect cards haha). what an awesome way to spend my first engagement shoot in LA.

ah new york. last time i came here was for scott roberts workshop . boy that was a long time ago. my photos look so different too.

hanging out with judy and kirk and their friends was like hanging out with friends that ive known for years. they were so hospitable and made my stay there really something to remember! not to mention made the shoot itself flow too! but on top of it all it really encourages me to see how kirk totally makes judy laugh, how much judy delights in being by his side, and how they both serve each other in various ways. gosh, i love meeting great couples.

grand central freaks me out because of the movie I Am Legend. i know. i am a whimp. but judy and kirk look nice =)

im back into posting action! tanya and bryant get to have the honors of kicking off my summer break as my first shoot of the summer. they are also my oklahoma wedding for this year too! one day ill visit all 50 states. its amazing to see two great people come together after a record time of dating! congrats to you guys and im sure the road ahead will be such an amazing one. seeya at the wedding!

i wish i had access to a rooftop whenever i wanted.

this might be my last post until after finals is over. im starting my summer in may! woohoo!

i cant believe ucdavis has a hotel now, can you believe that? if i were still at ucd, i would think there was no recession or cut in education funding going on as ucd has been expanding all over the place like wildfire.

samantha and steven both have a heart for missions. i love seeing people with a heart to reach out to people. its great seeing how we were connected in many ways too through our friends since we served on the same campus ministry. i had a blast shooting you guys! you guys made davis look good!

did i ever tell people i love shooting for my friends? i love seeing friends be all lubby dubby having found “the one” and i get to share in that time with them! i think having the op to shoot their wedding makes it more meaningful than merely attending for me.

i met both silvie and alex at my former church in davis. i loved seeing alex’s sacrificial nature towards silvie. sweet. they are a fun couple to shoot as they arent camera shy at all (and even if they were, a little warm up would just get them going). cant wait to shoot/attend your wedding this fall! should be a blassst to see all our friends together in one place celebrating.
