all about photography

hi, my name is Lynn-Kai Chao. ok you probably knew that already. this blog is a place where I share my photos and most importantly my life with you! i love life.

owning  some sort of tangible entity under the LWT name (history) has been one of my lifelong dreams. never did i anticipate that it would manifest itself into photography though!

i am really a Graphic Designer by trade and photography has always been a hobby of mine (yes even now). i love shooting landscapes and anything in nature but it wasn’t until 2007 that I started pursuing wedding photography after my first wedding shoot with Jerry Yoon. after that I have been hooked on wedding imagery and try to learn more about it by taking workshops and being mentored by Scott Robert Lim or by shooting alongside other great photographers who I can gather inspiration from!

its always fascinating to see how the life of a man and a woman can collide and make it to the altar with a love that lasts forever. i love learning from couples to see just how they do it and what makes them who they are. it is a taste of the beautiful picture of god and the church at the end times.

all about me

ok formal intro over! now what about the real me? so other than photography and graphic design….

the real me loves airplanes. dont ask me why. i just do. i love collecting airplane models and building them. most of the time i have no one to talk to about airplanes since it such an unpopular hobby but thats ok. if you like airplanes please talk to me hahah. you can always find me as “b-16707″ at www.diecastaircraftforum.com

yea yea airplanes and i love biking too. love traversing rocky terrain on a mountain bike but i also love going super fast on a road bike. i love biking with friends. even though its hard to bond and talk during a ride, its enduring the distance together and the teamwork that i love.

and i love all the other things in life like hanging out with friends, family, being outdoors, etc. but in the midst of all of these i love my quiet times too. rest for the body is a must! so dont be surprised if you see me lying on the floor sleeping. i love being one with the floor as some of my friends can attest too.

all about purpose

if my purpose here on Earth is for nothing less than the Glory of the Lord, then photography in my life is a reflection of that. through my photography, i try to worship Him as i enjoy his Creation; both humans and nature. God has indeed revealed himself through creation (general revelation) and i love to bask in that and reflect upon him! nature photography is still my #1 love.

hopefully I can inspire someone out there to pick up a camera with the hopes that maybe in turn they will inspire me back in the future! i love being inspired to be greater!
