i actually took the month of april off from wedding photography. so i had plenty of time to chill, hang out, and do something i rarely do for my clients: a website.

creating a website just isnt my forte. i mean, i could do it, it just takes me forever and is not one of my true passions. the last site i created was the one for work (which by the way isnt even completed haha) some many moons ago. that one wasnt as complicated as this one though. but i just had to do it this one time for george and lisa as well as house george for the many weeks on end when he comes up to davis to visit lisa…LOL this is full service man!

the reason why i decided to do it was the overflowing excitement i got during the planning phase of the site. originally i just told them to go create a blog and not involve me in a site. haha. but i caved in as we were talking about it and got totally excited and inspired. i knew i wanted to make a quirky website that represented who lisa and george are but didnt know where to start until i saw some drawings lisa drew. instantly that one idea flourished and i had lisa draw me a bunch of stuff that i could put together in the website you guys now see. lisa is very handy at drawing little cartoons so thats all her, i just took them, cleaned them up, put it all together and animated what i could for the site.

sure its nothing compared to a website that a private design firm like AKQA could design ( dream company i want to work for!!!)….but regardless check it out and let me know what you think!

ill be rockin’ their wedding at the end of august! and dont register your name if you arent invited please haha.

(warning, since im a huge PC fan…this site runs perfect on a PC with mozilla)

and speaking of websites…i should be rockin a new blog design soon too by the crazy go nuts awesomely awesome programmer james.
