I am one of those people that work better at home than anywhere else. As an undergrad in college, I never studied well at the library or in a coffee shop but instead I excelled in studying at home. But for my friends and most of the people around me it was the opposite story.
Well its not like I wanted to stay home today. My stomach acted up so I worked at home…and got a bajillion more things done than I would have gotten done if I were in my office! Amazing huh? Maybe it just the ergonomics at home are 100000x better than at work. Go figure, my $60 folding table totally owns that old Steelcase (probably $1000+!!!) junk I use at work.
….I love working in the glow of dim lighting. It’s very soothing, peaceful, and cozy. did you know having dual monitors ups your productivity by 33-44%? i’m finding 2 to not be enough!

my stomach is giving me problems but so what. in the midst of this following paragraph my heart rests uneasy (and easy at the same time).
my best friend just showed me this blog about Andrew and Grace at http://graceandrew.blogspot.com/ documenting his walk with God even though his cancer and now his impending death. sometimes i ask myself, “how exactly can we appreciate life when we don’t know what death feels like?” that question is irrelevant because life or death is all the same thing in light of one fact: we were created for God’s glory and not our own. it’s a hard concept to grasp but people like Andrew make it that much easier to come to an understand of what this life is about. I don’t even know the guy but reading through his struggles and his courage and continual reliance and praise on and to God has encouraged me to walk in a life worthy of his calling. Thank you Andrew. Thank you Grace.
i do ask that we all pray for the family he is leaving behind, for Grace and the children.
you will see more and more life posts here on my blog because my blog (like my life) is not mine for my own glory. but it is God’s and to show his.
