Trees in Davis, in the winter are usually no good. Why? Because during the storms they can either fall ontop of your car or leave alot of leaves and debris on the sidewalk.

But trees in Davis after the worst of the winter has passed can be quite stunning and can soak the campus/landscape with vivid color! If you remember when I went out during Fall to take a pic, you can remember why I say this! (check this post and this post). Well now we are on the brink of Spring and the Cherry Blossoms have come out!

Tough it was an overcast day today and I didn’t get many shots. Perhaps I’ll try my luck again next week and at a time closer to sunset. Much thanks to Clare for reminding me to bring my camera out today! If I continued my trend of forgetting, the trees would have already shed their beautiful flowers by the time I remembered to bring my camera out!
